Bowed cymbals are one of those sound effects that just never get old.
Perhaps it's the chilling sound of bow on bronze that puts us on the edge of our seat that we love so much. Or maybe it's the hauntingly beautiful tones that ring from a large ride cymbal with a large bow.
Add some real bronze to your project today:
Large cymbals bowed slowly or small cymbals with a short bow. They all sound different and that’s why we used over a dozen cymbals of all different sizes and alloys.
Rides, crashes, hi-hats, chinas, ice bells, o-zones, new, old, damaged, we used as many cymbals as we could get our hands on.
Hundreds of recordings later we whittled it down to 49 of the best-sounding and most versatile bowed cymbals around. We hope you enjoy these bronze beauties!
