Bells and chimes are useful in sound design and music production as they are adding organic vibes to your sound.
For this purpose, many esoteric bells and chimes were recorded from various angles, dynamics and with pristine sound quality.
Here you will find not only traditional bells (used in hotels or boats), but also exotic Chinese and Tibetan bells, wind chimes of different sizes and esoteric tuned resonators that generate unusual harmonies and soundscapes.

Swell is a performable Kontakt instrument and sound effects library designed to create natural sounding cymbal swells with a variety of different cymbals and performances. Cymbals include gongs, orchestral suspended cymbals, crashes, chinas, sizzle ride, and others.
Swell is divided into 2 parts: natural and designed.
The natural collection has recordings that are unaltered from their original performances and was created to produce clean, musical, natural sounding swells.
The designed collection uses samples based on the natural recordings that have been transformed into entirely new and different sounds using heavy processing and layering. It was created to produce interesting design and transition sounds quickly and easily. Swell includes over 200 fully designed rises.

Singing bowl is a type of metal or glass/crystal bell that vibrates and produces a rich, deep tone when played. Also known as Himalayan or Tibetan, singing bowls are used in meditation and yoga practice.
Singing bells are very useful in sound design and music production, because of rich and slowly evolving tones and textures.

The “AR_K Facility” is a collection of libraries, comprised of several volumes, each of which has a single or multiple Kontakt instruments. The entire series is centered on unusual percussion sounds with a lot of editing possibilities and several onboard effects. Shakers, maracas and rainsticks are great material for sound design and further processing.
For this library I recorded various ethnic shakers, maracas, rainsticks of different sizes and other unusual esoteric percussion instruments, like Kapel’ (circular shaker) or giant-size custom built rainstick.
These percussion instruments were recorded from various angles, dynamics and with pristine sound quality, which can be further processed, granulated or pitch-mangled to push your sound design boundaries further.
The first VST/AAX/AU plug-in from SoundMorph, DUST is a synthesizer plugin based on a real-time particle simulation, where each particle is a separate granulating sound source. The motion of each particle is determined by the flow field, which determines the force applied to each particle at each point.

HARMONICS is a new designed sound collection that explores the inner beauty of resonating metals to create an extensive set of inspiring sonic material for sound design and film scoring – proudly presented by SampleTraxx.
Metal happens to have the right combination of speed of sound and decay. Different metal shapes produce a broad spectrum of soundscapes and tones.
HARMONICS investigates this hidden magic by designing and layering these unique timbres.
The result is an extensive set of designed evolving textures and designed metal elements which are great to create sound cues in minutes, metal hits, passby-reverses and evolving drones.
The nature of this soundpack doesn’t call for compressor or maximizer. Close attention has been paid to preserve the original dynamic excursion of each sound and fully enjoy its natural vibration and evolution.
Having a wide dynamic range guarantees more freedom in layering and arranging different elements to create endless variations.

Church bells from Middle Ages to early 20th century. European traditional bells made in bronze. Various churches, bells and sound perspectives. From near field recordings recorded in church towers to far field recordings – soundscapes of bells in countryside/city, small town, villages… Maritime bells included (old sailing/steamships from the 19th century). Recorded in the Museum of Maritime History. Finest equipment used like: AKG, Sennheiser,…mics, Sound Devices recorder/mixer. Large acoustic bass drums are often used in trailers, movies, video games and other multimedia projects in which tension moments need to be emphasized.
For this library, I recorded several large REMO and MEINL drums, as well as custom handmade shamanic tambourines. Here you can find not only clean recordings, but processed with distortion/overdrive, drum rolls and also unusual foley, which can be used for sound design.

There are many great independent sound effect libraries available these days. The main problem with having so many, is keeping track of them!
